Core problem for this process are the normally poor feed properties of the ingredients. The feeding capacity of the screw needs to be optimized to achieve a good throughput. The mixing and dispersion requires very sensitive kneading action to open the starches. This is an application which one does not see every day. But we have experience even in this field.
